Withholding Period (WHP) Guidelines
Harvest WHP (Waiting Period Before Harvesting):
14 Days: Custard apples, kiwifruit, lychee, mangoes, passionfruit, pawpaw, persimmons, pineapples.
21 Days: Cucumber, gherkin, squash, zucchini.
4 Weeks: Blueberries, blackcurrants, grapes, lettuce, strawberries, tomatoes.
5 Weeks: Cucurbits (honeydew, rockmelon, watermelon, pumpkin), onions, broad beans, green beans, faba beans, navy beans.
7 Weeks: Brassicas (Brussels sprouts, cauliflower, broccoli, cabbage), peanuts, chickpeas, field peas, green vegetable peas, carrots.
8 Weeks: Celery.
10 Weeks: Hops, potatoes.
11 Weeks: Capsicums.
12 Weeks: Oilseed poppies.
14 Weeks: Cotton, sunflowers.
17 Weeks: Lupins, canola, soybeans, pigeon peas, linseed, leucaena.

Livestock for Export Markets:

For export, after following the grazing WHP, livestock must be on clean feed for 7 days before slaughter to meet export standards.
Export Slaughter Interval (ESI):
Ensure stock are fed clean feed for 7 days after the grazing WHP and before slaughter.
