METSUFORON METHYL Herbicide 500g – Effective Weed Control for Gardens and Crops

Application Tips:

Avoid spraying if rain is expected within 4 hours.
Only prepare spray you can use within 2 days; do not store longer.
Do not mix this product with others in the tank for storage.
Avoid applying on pastures with paspalum notatum or setaria spp., as growth will be reduced.
Newly sown pastures may be damaged—do not apply.
Not suitable for pasture seed crops.

Using a Surfactant/Wetting Agent:

Always use a surfactant or penetrant with this herbicide.
Metsulfuron alone: Use a non-ionic surfactant (100 mL per 100 L of spray).
With Glyphosate: Use a non-ionic surfactant or an organosilicone penetrant (e.g., Pulse, Probe). Check mixing instructions carefully.
Gas Gun Applications: Add an organosilicone penetrant (10 mL per 5 L or 200 mL per 100 L of spray).
With Mineral Oil: Add 1 L of oil per 100 L of spray but still use a non-ionic surfactant.
Follow the companion product label when tank mixing.

Product Compatibility:

Compatible with glyphosate and common herbicides like MCPA, 2,4-D, Dicamba, Clopyralid, Fluroxypyr, and insecticides like chlorpyrifos.
Always check the label of the other products for restrictions.

Environmental Effects:

Low toxicity to birds, bees, fish, and earthworms.
Breaks down faster in acidic, moist, and warm soils but may move more in alkaline soils.
Absorbed quickly by plants, breaking down into non-herbicidal compounds.

Safety Directions:

Harmful if swallowed. Avoid contact with eyes and skin.
When handling the product: Wear PVC gloves and goggles.
When spraying by hand: Wear cotton overalls, a washable hat, and gloves.
If it contacts skin, wash immediately with soap and water.
If it gets in eyes, rinse thoroughly with water.
Wash hands and all protective gear after use.

Livestock Protection:

No withholding period; stock can graze immediately.
For best results, remove stock for 3 days after application.
Avoid grazing on treated toxic plants (like bracken) until they are fully browned.
