BROMA Rat & Mouse Grain Bait 2kg – Bromadiolone Rodenticide

BROMA Grain Bait (SureFire Broma Grain Bait) is a rodenticide containing 0.05 g/kg bromadiolone in a grain base, for rats and mice. Bromadiolone is a second generation anticoagulant rodenticide. Packs from 500 g to 15 kg are on the label; we sell 2kg and 15kg.

Where the label allows it. In and around industrial, commercial, agricultural and domestic buildings. The label restricts use to bait stations within 2 metres of buildings, or in enclosed spaces. Do not apply bait to crops.

Rules you must follow. Use tamper-resistant bait stations, and do not place bait stations in the open. Do not put bait stations more than 3 m apart for mice, or 9 m apart for rats. Do not put bait into burrows and do not use it outdoors for mice. Baiting for 2 weeks is needed to reduce numbers; do not bait continuously for more than 35 days without evaluating the infestation. Inspect baits daily and replace eaten baits. Dispose of dead rodents safely at each visit (by burning, or by burying in an approved landfill). Wear gloves when handling bait. Bromadiolone products are subject to APVMA conditions of supply and use (APVMA Gazette, March 2026), and the buyer must be given a printed copy of those conditions (Attachment 2) at the time of sale.

Safety. The label says this product is hazardous to pigs, cats, dogs, native wildlife and poultry: place baits where other animals and birds cannot reach them. Keep out of reach of children. Do not let bait contaminate food or food intended for people or animals. Do not contaminate streams, rivers or waterways with the chemical or used containers, and do not burn empty containers or product. Using it to control protected native rodents needs permission from wildlife authorities. If poisoning occurs, contact a doctor or the Poisons Information Centre on 13 11 26; vitamin K1 (phytomenadione) is antidotal.
