METAREX-INOV Slug and Snail Control 10KG – Effective Pest Protection for Gardens

METAREX INOV® uses unique Colzactive® technology to attract and kill slugs and snails, even in tough weather conditions. It works by destroying the mucus cells they need to move. For heavy infestations, reapplication may be needed. Slugs and snails must be active to come into contact with the bait.

Application:

Scatter bait evenly using ground or air equipment.
Can also be mixed with seeds during direct drilling for slug control.
Calibrate your equipment correctly for accurate application.

Timing:

Apply before or during sowing when crops are vulnerable.
For broadacre crops, start in autumn after rain or moisture triggers slug/snail activity.
For seedlings, apply 5–10 days before planting.
Best applied in mild, damp weather when slugs/snails are active but avoid imminent rain.

Monitoring:

Check for slug/snail activity before and during crop growth.
Monitor regularly for perennial crops and follow industry guidelines.

Precautions

Keep pets, livestock, and wildlife away as accidental poisoning can be fatal.
Do not graze crops or cut them for stock feed while bait is visible.
Avoid contaminating waterways.

Storage & Disposal

Store in a cool, dry, and secure place, away from children, animals, and food.
Dispose of packaging responsibly: empty contents into equipment, crush or puncture the container, and take it to an approved waste facility. If unavailable, bury it 50 cm deep, away from water and plants.
