TRU BLU Blue Dye 5L – Spray Indicator for Accurate Pesticide and Fertiliser Use

TRU BLU Blue Dye is a 5 L pack of Tru-Blue Spray Indicator (APVMA 68258), a marking dye containing 105 g/L acid blue 9 disodium salt. The label says it is a blue spray indicator for use with pesticides and fertilisers, and that it suits all water-based spray mixtures.

How to use it. Boom spraying is 225 to 300 mL per 100 L of spray solution. Hand sprayers and knapsacks are 22 to 30 mL per 10 L. Follow the mixing instructions on the pesticide or fertiliser label and, unless it says otherwise, add the dye to the tank last. Vary the rate with foliage colour and height.

What it does. It marks where you have sprayed. It does not change what the pesticide or fertiliser it is mixed with may be used for, so follow that product label as well.

Before you buy. Do not let the chemical or its containers get into drains, sewers, ponds or streams. If skin irritation occurs, get medical advice. If eye irritation persists, get medical advice. If swallowed, rinse the mouth and do not induce vomiting. Keep out of reach of children, and store in the closed original container in a cool, well ventilated area, out of direct sunlight.
