Important
Apply only when turf and weeds are actively growing.
Avoid exceeding application rates or overlapping sprayed areas.
Transient discolouration may occur on buffalo, kikuyu, carpet grass and Queensland blue couch.
Test a small patch of buffalo before large scale application.
Do not apply to bentgrass greens or winter grass putting surfaces.
Complete weed death may take up to six weeks, with faster results on younger weeds.
Overseeding within three months may be affected due to diflufenican residue.
Always read the product label carefully for directions, safety information and first aid instructions.
Use only as directed.
Do not spray on stressed turf such as grass affected by cold, drought, poor nutrition, disease or recent herbicide use.
Apply only when weeds are actively growing.
Avoid overlapping sprayed areas to prevent excessive application.
Do not apply if rain is expected within several hours.
Do not use on bentgrass greens or winter grass putting surfaces.
Test a small area before treating large areas of buffalo turf due to varietal sensitivity.
Transient discolouration may occur on buffalo, kikuyu, carpet grass and Queensland blue couch.
Fill the spray tank halfway with clean water.
Add the required amount of SureFire Multi Turf Herbicide.
Top up with water and keep agitating until the mixture is fully blended.
Add 50 mL per 2 to 5 litres of water for every 100 square metres.
Shake or agitate to ensure the mix is uniform before spraying.
For broadacre turf, prepare 5 litres of herbicide in 200 to 500 litres of water per hectare.
Ensure constant agitation during mixing and spraying.
If mixing with other compatible products, add ingredients in this order:
dry formulations → liquid concentrates → water soluble liquids → surfactants
Add surfactants only after the herbicide has been fully diluted.
Most users do not require spraying oils with this herbicide.
If used, follow the specific label directions of the oil product.
Use a suitable turf surfactant, for example Wetter 1000, to improve coverage and reduce runoff.
Add the surfactant after the herbicide is fully mixed in water.

A selective herbicide kills target weeds while leaving desirable plants unharmed - for example, a lawn-safe product that removes bindii and clover from buffalo or couch without damaging the turf. A non-selective herbicide such as glyphosate kills almost any green plant it contacts, so it is used for driveways, fence lines, garden-bed prep and total vegetation control, never on lawns.
A pre-emergent creates a barrier in the top layer of soil that stops weed seeds from establishing as they germinate. It does not control weeds that are already growing. Apply it before the target weed germinates - late summer to early autumn for winter grass, and early spring for summer grasses like crabgrass and crowsfoot - then water it in.
Only if you use the wrong type. Non-selective herbicides (glyphosate) will kill or badly damage turf. Selective lawn herbicides are formulated to be safe on common Australian turf at label rates, but tolerance varies by grass - buffalo is the most sensitive - so always check the label lists your turf type before spraying.
