Description

What is Bio Trace Element?

Bio Trace Element is a liquid concentrate containing seven essential trace elements โ€” iron, boron, cobalt, copper, manganese, zinc and molybdenum โ€” chelated and carried in carbon-rich fulvic acid. It’s a balanced micronutrient top-up rather than a primary NPK feed, correcting deficiencies and supporting overall plant health.

Who it’s for

It suits home gardeners and commercial growers looking to correct micronutrient deficiencies or maintain plant colour and vigour across garden beds, potted plants, ornamentals and cropping systems. It works best as a complement to a primary fertiliser such as Fruit & Veg Triple Boost, Rose Boost or Turf Triple Boost, rather than as a stand-alone feed.

Why it works

Iron, boron, cobalt, copper, manganese, zinc and molybdenum are trace elements plants need in small amounts for enzyme function, chlorophyll production and healthy growth โ€” even a minor deficiency can show up as pale leaves or slowed growth. Chelating these elements in fulvic acid, a carbon-rich carrier, helps keep them available for uptake through both foliage and roots.

Application & analysis

Shake or mix well before use to keep the trace elements and fulvic acid suspended evenly. As a foliar spray, apply 50 mL per 100 square metres (5 to 7 litres per hectare) at a minimum dilution of 1:100; for propagation, dilute to 1:200. For home garden use, apply until runoff as a foliar spray or root drench, every two to four weeks during active growth โ€” more often if deficiency symptoms appear. Apply foliar sprays to cool foliage or moist soil for best uptake, and jar-test before tank-mixing with other products.

Pack size

Bio Trace Element is available in a 1 Litre bottle (SKU 900-147).

Tips for Use

Shake or mix well before use
Ensure the concentrate is fully blended so the nutrients disperse evenly.

Dilute according to the product label
Follow the recommended dilution rates printed on the bottle.

Apply during active growth
Use as a foliar spray or soil drench once every two to four weeks while plants are growing.

Increase frequency when deficiencies appear
If plants show signs like pale leaves or slowed growth, apply more often until improvement is visible.

Apply to moist soil or cool foliage
Moisture helps nutrient uptake. Foliar applications work best in the cooler part of the day.

Mix thoroughly before applying
Stir or agitate the solution to keep fulvic acid and trace elements suspended.

Check compatibility before tank mixing
If combining with other products, perform a small jar test first to avoid reactions.

Monitor plant response
Watch for improvement in colour and growth. Adjust your timing or dilution if needed.

Rinse equipment after use
Clean sprayers or watering cans to prevent residue buildup.

Suitable for all gardens
Works in home gardens, potted plants, ornamentals and commercial cropping systems.
