Product Description

IPRODIONE 500 is a fungicide containing 500 g/L iprodione, in a 5L pack. The label lists grey mould, brown rot and related diseases on fruit, berry and vine crops (stone fruit, almonds, macadamias, grapes, kiwifruit, raspberries, strawberries and others); sclerotinia rot, grey mould and early blight on celery, lettuce, potatoes and tomatoes; lucerne, peanuts and soybeans; and botrytis blight on ornamentals at 100 mL per 100 L of water. The label does not list home gardens or lawns.

Withholding periods. Do not harvest for 1 day after application on celery, raspberries, strawberries, boysenberries and youngberries; 7 days on lettuce, tomatoes, grapes, kiwifruit and passionfruit; 12 days on peanuts; and 7 weeks on soybeans. A withholding period is not required for almonds, macadamias, mandarins, pome fruit, potatoes and stone fruit when used as directed. Do not graze or cut lucerne for stock food for 7 days. Mixing Instructions

Ensure the spray solution’s pH is below 7 before adding the fungicide.
Use a buffering agent if needed.
Add half the required water, mix in the product, then top up with the remaining water.

 

Application Guidelines

Dilute Spraying: Use high-volume spray equipment to cover crops evenly, avoiding excessive runoff.
Concentrate Spraying: Use lower spray volumes and adjust mixing rates accordingly.
Proper coverage is key to effective disease control. Adjust sprayer settings based on crop growth.

 

Compatibility

This fungicide mixes well with several other products, including Aliette WG, Dithane, and chlorpyrifos. When tank mixing, follow the recommended mixing sequence (e.g., wettable powders first, then suspension concentrates, etc.).

Do not mix with fertilizers or use surfactants/spray oils, as they may cause crop damage.

Storage: Keep in a cool, ventilated place away from direct sunlight.
