Description

Granular Urea 46-0-0 by Incitec Pivot is the ultimate choice for farmers and gardeners seeking a high-quality, economical, and versatile nitrogen fertiliser. Containing 46% nitrogen, Urea 46-0-0 is the most concentrated solid nitrogen fertiliser available, allowing you to apply less product while delivering the same level of nitrogen to your crops. This translates into significant savings in time, labour, and transportation costs, making it the preferred choice for both small and large-scale farming operations.

One of the standout features of Urea 46-0-0 is its versatility. It can be applied dry directly to the soil or blended with other granular fertilisers such as DAP, MAP, and Muriate of Potash, depending on your specific fertilisation needs. In addition, Urea 46-0-0 can be dissolved in water for use in fertigation systems or as a foliar spray, making it adaptable to a wide range of application methods.

Compatible with most soil types and crops, Granular Urea 46-0-0 can be used in pre-planting, side-dressing, or top-dressing applications, ensuring that your crops receive the nitrogen they need at critical growth stages. The slow-release nature of urea allows nitrogen to be gradually released into the soil, providing plants with sustained nutrition over time. This helps enhance root development, improve foliage growth, and boost overall plant vitality, resulting in healthier, higher-yielding crops.

Farmers and horticulturists alike appreciate Urea 46-0-0 for its ability to promote rapid plant growth while improving nitrogen uptake efficiency. Whether you’re growing cereal crops, fruits, vegetables, or ornamental plants, this product is a cost-effective and powerful solution for meeting your nitrogen fertilisation needs.

Additionally, Granular Urea 46-0-0 is environmentally responsible when applied correctly. By managing nitrogen inputs efficiently, you can minimise nitrogen losses due to volatilisation, leaching, and runoff, reducing the environmental impact of your fertilisation program.

Take advantage of the most concentrated nitrogen fertiliser on the market and enjoy the benefits of enhanced crop growth and reduced input costs. Purchase Granular Urea 46-0-0 from Garden Nursery Products today and give your crops the essential nitrogen boost they need for optimal performance. Invest in your soil and harvest the rewards of healthy, productive plants.

Frequently asked questions

What do the three numbers on a fertiliser bag mean?

They are the N-P-K ratio - the percentage by weight of nitrogen (N), phosphorus (P) and potassium (K). Nitrogen drives leaf growth and colour, phosphorus supports roots and establishment, and potassium builds stress and disease tolerance. A blend like 15-4-12 is 15% N, 4% P and 12% K, which suits an established lawn; a higher-phosphorus starter blend suits new turf.

What is the difference between slow-release and fast-release fertiliser?

Fast-release (soluble) fertilisers green the lawn within days but are used up in a few weeks and can burn if over-applied in heat. Slow-release fertilisers feed steadily over 8 to 12 weeks or more, give even growth and are far more forgiving in summer. Many turf managers use slow-release as the base feed and a light liquid feed for a quick colour lift.

How much fertiliser does my lawn need?

Granular turf fertilisers are typically applied at 2.5 to 5 kg per 100 square metres, so a 500 square metre lawn needs roughly 12.5 to 25 kg - about one standard bag per application. Spread it evenly with a spreader and water in straight away. Always follow the rate on the bag, as concentrated blends are applied at lower rates than general-purpose ones.
