What is WEEDPRO 540 Glyphosate Herbicide?
WEEDPRO 540 is a non-selective, water-soluble herbicide manufactured by PCT Holdings under the SureFire brand. Its active constituent is 540g/L glyphosate, present as the isopropylamine salt, and it’s registered for control of a wide range of annual and perennial weeds across residential, commercial and agricultural settings.

Why it works

Tips for use
WeedPro 540 Herbicide is a non-selective, water-soluble weed killer designed to control grasses and broadleaf weeds in various agricultural and non-agricultural settings. It’s suitable for use before planting crops, except for transplanting tomato seedlings.
Key Usage Notes:
Before Planting Crops: Safe for use on agricultural land before sowing any crop. Avoid using it before transplanting tomato seedlings.
Plastic Mulch: If crops will be transplanted into plastic mulch, ensure no residue remains on the plastic by rinsing with 2 cm of rainfall or sprinkler irrigation.
How It Works: The herbicide is absorbed through leaves and stems, moving to the roots. It does not remain active in the soil or control weeds after application. Visible effects take 3–7 days, or up to 2–3 weeks in cool or cloudy weather.
Improving Effectiveness:
Add a high-quality non-ionic surfactant to improve results, especially when using low rates or high water volumes.
Recommended Rates:
200 mL/100 L (1000 g/L surfactant)
250–500 mL/100 L (700 g/L surfactant)
For aquatic weeds, use surfactants approved for water use (e.g., Nemo Aquatic Surfactant).
Avoid adding oils or other chemicals unless specified on the label.
Mixing Instructions:
Fill the spray tank 1/3 to ½ full with clean water and start agitation.
If using ammonium sulphate, mix it first (800 g/100 L spray solution).
Add other herbicides or additives, then WeedPro 540, and mix well.
Add the remaining water and any required surfactant to minimize foaming.
Agitate the solution during application and use it promptly.
Clean all equipment thoroughly after use with clean water.
